"FALSE FLAG" FUNDED ON ZOOP
"False Flag" meets funding goal on Zoop.
The first of five issues of the limited series "False Flag" reached their funding goal on Zoop. The story follows a single father grieving the loss of his son in the aftermath of a mass shooting when a conspiracy theorist gaslights his small town and demands proof the tragedy occurred.
Dan Smith lived a quiet life with his son, Bobby, in a rural Michigan town until the mass shooting. Following the tragedy, Dan mourns in his own quiet and unique way. Henry Perkins hosts a conspiracy podcast, traveling the country and calling into question the legitimacy of these far too common shootings. Henry pushes the quiet Dan and gaslights the town into siding with him against the families who've lost loved ones.
At its core, "False Flag" explores grief interrupted. It's a drama wrapped in a horror story as Dan is haunted by the ghost of his son and hounded by this monster of a conspiracy theorist.
