RISE A.K.A. PHOENIX SIX

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Thomas Conway, a disgraced Special Forces officer, and his squad of misfit soldiers travel back in time to the Civil War and become entangled int he clandestine efforts to defeat the confederacy.

From writer/artist Edward Coffey, RISE explores the "What if...?" of sending a diverse squad of modern soldiers with all their modern technology and knowledge of history back in time to the Civil War. The consequences of doing the wrong or right thing could lead to dire consequences on the timeline.

Master Sgt. Ryan Wallace, a decorated Special Forces noncommissioned officer, grows weary of Thomas's contradictions as he and other soldiers aid Elizabeth Van Lew's Richmond Underground, a secret spy ring in the heart of the Confederacy. Ryan and another soldier go AWOL. They attempt to link with Confederate units in hopes of creating a Confederate victory.

Time is of the essence as Thomas and the remaining squad must chase Ryan throughout the Civil War theater to stop him.
